David Schwimmer Once Served Rod Stewart… Divorce Papers!
Keanu Reeves has a reputation for being one of the nicest guys in Hollywood. But what I’m about to say could change that perception . . . especially among animal lovers: You can blame Keanu for the dog dying in “John Wick”. (!!!) Co-director David Leitch says the movie’s investors HATED the idea of killing the dog, thinking it would alienate audiences and kill the box office. They tried to make the directors change the ending so the dog survives. Keanu stood up for the directors and fought AGAINST the happier ending. And, as you probably know, Keanu and company WON.
Here’s some crazy celebrity trivia: The summer after David Schwimmer finished his freshman year of college, he went to work as a process server for his mother, who was a divorce lawyer. His job was to, quote, “pop out of the bushes and serve you divorce papers.” And one of those people he had to serve was ROD STEWART. This would have been around 1984, so Rod was probably being served by his first wife Alana Stewart, whom he’d married in 1979. (Here’s video.)
Even Brad Pitt gets starstruck! He says he’s only been starstruck twice by famous actresses: His “Thelma & Louise” co-stars Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis. But he, quote, “got over it quickly.” That was his big breakout role. He slept with Thelma before stealing Louise’s money.
