Couple Gets Married In Front of 200 Grandparents & High School Football Ref Saves Another Ref With CPR During A Game

A New York couple recently held a second wedding ceremony in the senior center where they first met.  The couple decided to share their special day with the residents they say played a significant role in their lives. Over 200 grandparents attended the ceremony. The bride and groom say the senior center isn’t just where they met, it’s where they found a second family.

A high school football ref in Alabama is being hailed a hero for doing CPR and saving another referee who collapsed at a game last week.  A ref named Joey Shelnutt had just placed the ball at the 25-yard line when he dropped to the ground and stopped moving.  Another ref named Lew Murphy immediately ran to him and started chest compressions saving his life.  Here is Shelnutt talking about what happened from his hospital bed.
