Despite what the Internet has been suggesting all weekend, Coldplay takes no glee in destroying relationships. And they’re trying to make sure it never happens again. During their show Saturday night in Madison, Wisconsin, Chris Martin actually warned the audience before they did the “kiss cam”. It was their first show since they OUTED tech CEO Andy Byron and his mistress last week. On a related note, Byron has officially resigned from his company, Astronomer. (By now you’ve probably seen about 4,000 kiss cam memes on social media. Check out this collection from TheTopicalFruit.com.)

E! News says Luke Bryan was recently performing in Greenville when he hilariously referenced Coldplay’s cheating scandal from last week where a married CEO got caught cuddling his HR director at a show. Luke asked the audience, “Who’s here with their secretary tonight? It’s gotta be someone way up there that’s, uh…yeah. Do not get caught tonight!”

Naughty But Nice says Stephen Colbert allegedly offered to take a pay cut in order to save his late night show. A source tells the website, “He told them, ‘If it helps the crew, take it out of my paycheck’. Stephen wasn’t posturing — he was serious. He kept the show going through COVID, through the writers’ strike, and through constant executive drama. He gave CBS everything. They gave him a deadline. Stephen thought loyalty mattered. He offered them his money. They gave him a pink slip. They let him believe the show was safe — and then they blindsided him.” CBS says 35,000 people have signed a petition opposing the cancellation of Stevens talk show
Naughty But Nice says Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon may be the next late night show hosts to get fired like Stephen Colbert. Sources tell the website, “This is about survival now. No one is safe — not even the Jimmys. People don’t want an hour of desk jokes at 11:30 anymore. They want fast, viral clips — not monologues. They’re trending for apologies, flubs, and feuds — not the comedy.’’ Fallon makes $16 million a year while Kimmel earns $15 million a year.

The National Enquirer says Tom Cruise is allegedly making changes for ‘’Top Gun 3’’, with only half of the key supporting cast likely to return. A source says, “Broadly, I’d say only about half of the key supporting cast of [Top Gun] Maverick will be invited back for Top Gun 3, and that’s how Tom likes it. Keeping the ensemble fresh is the stated reason for that, but everybody knows Ed Harris did not have a great time making Maverick. These guys look up to Tom like he’s their football coach. Miles Teller is in that camp too, but he has not yet made a deal to return yet and he always has a packed schedule of work.”

An insider reveals, “Justin and Jessica have been over for months, ever since his DUI arrest. She just got sick of him, and they’ve been leading separate lives for months. Everyone in showbiz knows it, and the official divorce papers are going to be filed soon. But it’s the worst-kept secret in showbiz, and nobody in Hollywood is going to be surprised by this. It’s already old news. It’s the culmination of years of tension, growing distance, and separate lives. Things between them feel really tense at the moment. They’re heading in completely different directions. When Justin gets back to LA, there’s a serious conversation waiting for him. Jessica just wants to make things formal and work out a statement to stress it was amicable and mutual – even though it’s very much been one-sided and it’s her decision to end things.”
