The lights are low, the jack-o’-lanterns are lit, and the air smells like bonfires and mischief! We caught up with some of your favorite country artists to see how they do Halloween…

Justin Moore Talks About How He Takes His Children Trick-Or-Treating … “You know, where we’re from, it’s not the typical Halloween that most kids, I guess, have. We drive them around because we don’t live in a neighborhood. We drive ‘em to the people who we know, like my aunts and uncles and my parents and, you know, our family, our pastor. Usually we have like a church hayride. We’re kind of in our own little bubble, in a sense, in our town, and really the surrounding communities.”

Thomas Rhett Says His Family Puts Up Their Christmas Lights Before Halloween … “Christmas is my wife and I’s favorite time of the year. We love it so much. We literally put lights up on Halloween, actually, so that once Halloween was over, we just crank the lights on. I’m sure our neighbors hate us. I’m not kidding, I think if you were to Google Image our home, you could see it from space. I mean, it is very, very bright.”

Luke Bryan On His Favorite Halloween Candy … “You can find out a lot about your neighbors by what kind of candy they put out. Full bars of Snickers bars, and Reese’s cups, [but] the old chocolate popcorn ball of stuff, that’s no good. You get Dots one time of year and they pull your teeth”

Reba McEntire Loves Halloween Because It Was Her Daddy’s Favorite Holiday … “We used to throw parties at the big barn and have costume contests and things like that, but Kelly [Clarkson] and Brandon have taken that over now, so we just go over to their house and dress up”

Thomas Rhett Once Dressed As Wolverine For Halloween … “The best Halloween costume I think I ever wore was probably when I was about twelve years old, and my mom and dad got me the Wolverine outfit that came with styrofoam muscles, pectorals, abs, biceps, the whole nine yards. That was probably my favorite Halloween costume”

Dierks Bentley Will Be Mr. Potato Head For Halloween … “The costumes are always picked out by our kids, and this year they wanted to do Toy Story. So, I thought maybe I’d get Woody. No. I thought maybe I’d get Buzz Lightyear. No. I got Mr. Potato Head. Yeah, I’m very cool. I’m gonna make him cool. I’m bringing sexy back to Mr. Potato Head. they’ve got a Mrs. Potato Head too, so Cass is Mrs. Potato Head. So, we’re going as the, yeah, Toy Story. But we’ve gone as The Wizard of Oz before. We did Willy Wonka one year, which was unfortunate for Cass ‘cause she had to dress up as Violet as a big blueberry. So, our outfits are terrible, but it’s fun because the kids pick ‘em out. Let’s see, so we’re Potato Heads, Evie is Little Bo Peep, Jordan is the cowgirl. I can’t think of her name. Jessie! Jordan is Jessie, and then Knox is Buzz Lightyear. We got a little Buzz Lightyear costume for him, which is pretty strong.”

Dustin Lynch Once Dressed Up Like Garth Brooks For Halloween … he always considered Garth to be a superhero, and wanted to be just like him.

Tyler Farr Wants Adult Treats In His Halloween Bag This Year … ”Shotgun shells, maybe some, like, Under Armor cold-weather gear or some turkey calls, a good shaving kit maybe. You know, times have changed, so I don’t think candy and Tootsie Rolls are quite on the (ahem) artist diet. And I don’t think anybody’s gonna go to Whole Foods to get me some gluten-free anything to put in my bag. So, that would probably be what’s goin’ in my trick-or-treatin’ bag these days.”

Chris Young Talks About The Best Halloween Costume He’s Worn … “Probably one of my best costumes I’ve ever worn on Halloween… I actually spent quite a bit of money and went and got a full like wrap around molded Burger King head from the commercial. And, I wore that with like the tights and the doublet and everything and I walked around. I probably got more photo requests that night than I have at any single show I’ve ever performed. So, I don’t know what that means, but it was a pretty funny night and no one knew it was me, which was awesome.”

Morgan Evans On His First Halloween Costume … “My most memorable Halloween costume was probably the first…and it was memorable because I didn’t realize that it was a thing that grown ups actually dressed up until I moved to America. So, I think I was on my way to a party and I stopped at a CVS and I wrapped my entire body in bandages and I went as a mummy.”

Gabby Barrett On Her Favorite Halloween Costume … “My most memorable Halloween costume was definitely dressing up as Belle. I always loved super pretty princesses when I was younger, and I remember Belle was my favorite princess, so I had a big poofy yellow dress on, and my mom did a little tiny bit of makeup on me, and it was the cutest thing ever, and that was my favorite by far.”

Brett Eldredge On His Favorite Halloween Costume .. “I actually got with a bunch of my friends and we dressed as teletubbies…uh, whatever those things are…and we went to a bar, and it was just a hit. It was so hot inside those suits, but I was having a great time and everybody just wanted to get pictures with us, and so, teletubbies definitely has to be one of the craziest things you can be for Halloween.”

Riley Green Remembers His Best Halloween Costume … “My best Halloween costume growin’ up was me and a buddy of mine, who was a lot shorter than me, went as Mario and Luigi.”

Tim McGraw Says He Wants To Be Invisible For Halloween … “Of course, instinctively, you want to say Superman so you could fly. But since I’m a pilot, I can already fly. But no, I think you’d want to be the Invisible Man, wouldn’t you? Mainly because you could observe without being observed.”
