Actress Kat Graham played Diana Ross in “Michael”, but you won’t see her in the movie . . . because all her scenes were cut due to “certain legal considerations”. She didn’t elaborate. “Michael” opens today, and it’s projected to make $65 million to $70 million over the next three days. That would be a record opening for a music biopic.
First “Buffy”, now this: Remember the “Clueless” revival that Peacock was working on? Well, they’re not working on it anymore. They’ve decided not to move forward with it. But it’s not officially dead yet. The show is being produced by CBS Studios and Paramount, and they’re going to see if they can get another network or streamer interested. If this does end up happening, Alicia Silverstone will return to play Cher, and also serve as an executive producer. Amy Heckerling, who wrote and directed the original movie, is also producing. The Buffy” revival/reboot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer has also been cancelled.

The three-day Stagecoach festival kicks off today and it will stream live all weekend. It’ll be available on Prime Video, the Amazon Music app, and Twitch. Post Malone and Jelly Roll kick off the Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2 next month and many tickets are still available, like 50 to 75%. It’s pretty odd, considering their last tour sold out. A couple of the college stadium venues like University of Mississippi and Louisiana State University are offering discounts for students to try to get rid of tickets. (You can see images of the empty stadiums here.)
CinemaBlend says Paramount Pictures is celebrating the 40th anniversary of “Top Gun” by re-releasing the film and its sequel “Top Gun: Maverick” on May 13th. AMC is going viral because they are offering a limited edition popcorn bucket that resembles Tom Cruise‘s fighter pilot helmet. The helmet is red white and blue and only available for one week while the films are out.
The Blast says Jennifer Lopez is allegedly back to hoping she and Ben Affleck can work things out after he left his stake in their $60 million marital mansion to her. A source says, “She can’t help but see it as proof he’s the good guy she fell in love with, and she’s back to hoping that somehow, they might be able to work it out. He feels like this will absolve him of the way he messed with her head [during their marriage]. But that’s typical of Ben — he’s trying to avoid drama and only creating more. This isn’t him giving anything. This is him paying to be done. That house is the last tie, and he wants it gone, fast. He’d pay anything at this point. Because peace of mind is worth more than the money. Ben isn’t acting out of kindness, he’s making a smart decision for himself. He wants a clean, absolute break, and this is the quickest way to get there.”
The Blast says Diddy’s defamation case against NBCUniversal has been tossed. Combs filed a defamation suit over the documentary “Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy.” New York Supreme Court Judge Phaedra F. Perry-Bond dismissed the case saying, “The court will not entertain second-guessing of editorial content”.
The NY Post says Michael B. Jordan recently re-listed his Encino home for $10.49 million. He bought the eight-bedroom, 11,599-square-foot property in 2022 for $12.51 million. The home sits on a half-acre and opens with a 20-foot pivot door. It has a grand chef’s kitchen, high ceilings, glass walls, an elevator, a screening room, a wine cellar, a gym, an infinity-edge pool, a spa and a guest house.
WJW says McDonald’s is coming out with a Stranger Things Happy Meal. The custom Happy Meal box will include one of 12 collectible toys in addition to chicken nuggets and fries.
Bailey Zimmerman tells Country Now how excited he is about his partnership with Sonic because of his love for the chain. “I love SONIC. That’s why it was so cool when they reached out because I was like, ‘Dude, I actually love SONIC!’ I love going to SONIC. I love hitting the button. I love their corn dogs. I love the ranch. Their Refreshers are insane….And then they actually hit me about doing a thing for their Refreshers. And I’m like, bro, I already drank those. So this is perfect. Let’s go!”

Ryan Reynolds tells Hello! Magazine that he and Blake Lively’s fourth child arrived as a “mistake” and has been a wonderful surprise.“That was a mistake. We did not mean to do that… swear to god! We never found out until they come out the ol’ chute. I never call it that…I’ll workshop that. We weren’t planning, but boy, howdy, has that been a treat.”
TMZ says Jelly Roll is at the center of a feud with comedian Nicole Arbour. Nicole claims Jelly Roll’s team sent her a hush money deal and threatened to sue her if she didn’t sign it. Nicole has been blasting Jelly on social media for refusing to apologize for years of threats. The Police in Nashville say there is no active investigation and no charges have been filed.
The Star says Blake Shelton is adamant divorce is never going to be an option in his marriage to Gwen Stefani. A source tells the magazine, “Blake went through so much turmoil when he and Miranda split, it was probably the lowest time in his life and something he’d do anything to avoid experiencing ever again. He adores Gwen and is adamant that divorce is never going to be an option for them, even if they have to endure some tough times.”
Riley Green tells Military.com how challenging it was playing his character in ‘Marshals’. “There’s a level of pressure trying to represent something like that, that you don’t feel just playing any character. That’s something I know nothing about beyond just relationships and friends that I’ve got that have served.”
Corey Kent tells AmericanSongwriter.com that he and his band were still touring in a van when his song went to number one. “We were on the road playing a show back in 2025 when ‘This Heart’ went number one. We were in a red 12-passenger van. We’re not in a tour bus, nothing fancy about this. The song just blew up. We were in Lubbock, TX and driving our red van rooster down to Oklahoma, where the crew is from, celebrating with the same crew that you’ve been doing it with since day one. It was amazing to feel that collective team win.”
Lainey Wilson tells Us Weekly Magazine that she doesn’t pay attention to her haters. “I’ve definitely become thicker-skinned, which I’m proud of, because for a minute, I did let it get to me. I’m human and I’m a songwriter. I think words are powerful – that’s why I started writing songs to begin with. You’ll read something negative and it kind of pings your heart for a minute. You have to pull yourself up by the bootstraps and keep on going.”
Radar Online says Taylor Swift may have armed guards at her wedding. A source says, “At this level of potential exposure, we are talking about layered protection – armed specialists, rapid-response teams and surveillance coverage across multiple zones. Bringing in SWAT-style personnel is not being treated as excessive, it is being treated as appropriate. When you have this concentration of wealth and visibility, you plan for worst-case scenarios, whether you like it or not.”
Heat magazine says Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are allegedly deeply in love and talking about a Paris wedding. A close source says, ‘They both love the idea of getting married in Paris, it has a lot of meaning for both of them, and since she’s going to be over in Europe for a bunch of summer shows this summer they’re seriously talking about doing something in Paris before that kicks off on June 18 in Spain. When it comes to this wedding, money will be no object. They’re talking about inviting a couple of hundred people and putting them all up in Paris for a three-day extravaganza. It’s all very over the top. The way they’ve been acting lately, you’d think they were a couple of twenty-somethings enjoying a wild college romance, not two middle-aged divorcees!’
