THINGS U NEED 2 NO:

Burger King restaurants in France are now topping their chicken nuggets with caviar. The caviar is from China.

(intro) The FDA now allows coffee to be labeled as “healthy” if it contains fewer than five calories per 12 ounces. This ruling officially took effect on April 28th. The Takeout says for the most flavorful coffee, let it cool to 135-160 degrees Fahrenheit before sipping. Different roasts have specific temperature ranges for optimal taste, ranging from 130-145 degrees for light roasts to 150-160 degrees for dark roasts. Drinking coffee below 120 degrees can result in a flat or sour taste. Reheating it is not recommended.

A recent study published in the Canadian Journal of Cardiology found that regularly drinking champagne and white wine reduces the risk of sudden cardiac arrest. Researchers say that the grapes used in champagne contain high levels of polyphenols, which can improve cardiovascular health. Professor Jeremy Spencer states, “This research is exciting because it illustrates for the first time that moderate consumption of champagne has the potential to influence cardiovascular health.”

Got a new pet and have decided you’ve chosen the wrong name for it? Please fill out the official “Household Pet Name-Change Form,” created by a dad whose child wanted to change the name of their kitten. Twitter user @mrgan wrote: “Our daughter wants to rename our kitten, and she asked me to “download the form for it.” (She had been reading about people name-changes.) So I made the official pet name-change form, available to the general public. The official pet-renaming website notes that pet owners are allowed unlimited name changes and there is no fee for the service — but it does kindly ask that you inform your pet of this change.

Every year, moms are asked what they want for Mother’s Day, and they’re ALWAYS hinting at the same stuff:  A nap . . . the day off doing EVERYTHING for the family . . . and handmade gifts and cards. In a new survey, 94% of moms say they’d like to have more sleep, and HALF of the moms said that “a nap with no one needing you” is the ultimate luxury, with the next-best “luxuries” being:  “Eating a meal while it’s hot” . . . “not making any decisions” . . . and a “solo bathroom break.” 60% of moms say they’d happily trade gifts for the chance to sleep . . . almost two-thirds of moms haven’t had a nap in the last month . . . and a quarter of them can’t remember the last time they napped. Yes, thoughtful gifts are nice . . . flowers and dinners out are appreciated . . . bonus family time is special . . . but nothing shows your appreciation for what moms do, more than DOING IT YOURSELF, so they can put their feet up.

Sleeping on your left side can improve your health and reduce snoring. Doctors also recommend left side sleeping for those with heartburn or gastric problems. They caution against sleeping on your stomach because it can cause spinal, joint and nerve problems in addition to chronic neck and back pain

A woman is going viral on TikTok for her story of how someone tried to “pay it BACKWARD” at a Dunkin.  When she pulled up, the employee said that the guy ahead of her said SHE would be paying for HIS order.

There’s a bizarre “anti-aging” trend in some Asian countries, which involves tattooing bright pink circles on people’s kneecaps and armpits.

A two-vehicle crash involving a KANGAROO happened yesterday morning in Alabama.  There were no injuries, even the kangaroo.

The U.S. Navy “lost” a $60 MILLION fighter jet, after it “rolled” overboard off a moving aircraft carrier.  Apparently, the ship made a hard turn to avoid some fire from fighters in Yemen, and it slipped off and sank.

According to a dubious new study, 95% of single women agreed on one thing:  They want to be approached more in public.

In a survey, 38% of people say they (secretly) hate even being asked to help a friend or family member move. That makes sense.  It’s hard to get out of . . . it takes a long time . . . and it typically involves stress, manual labor, and the risks of messing stuff up. If you’re the one needing help, people say the top three things you can do to sweeten the pot are:  BUYING food and drinks . . . PAYING for the help . . . and PROMISING to return the favor when the time comes. So why don’t people just hire professionals?  54% of people say it’s too expensive.  29% say they don’t feel like they need “professionals.”  And 17% say they don’t trust strangers with their stuff.
