1. “Superman,” $122 million. (The film cost $225 million to produce. It earned $95 million overseas for a total worldwide weekend take of $217 million)

Mondays are bad for your health. New research from the University of Hong Kong reveals that anxiety on Mondays leads to higher cortisol levels. This can harm your overall health. Experts advise conducting a weekly stress inventory to identify and manage sources of anxiety. Professor  Modupe Akinola says, ‘’Monday anxiety was the only day linked to a lasting cortisol spike likely because the day carries a sense of “uncertainty, danger or dread. The  extra demands that come on Monday make it feel like you may not have the resources to cope … and your body’s stress system is telling you to get ready to battle.”

A study found Mondays stress us out even when we’re no longer working.  A lot of RETIRED people get stressed by Mondays too.  The researchers think it’s because workweek stress is just so deeply ingrained in us. 

Coffee Mate is set to release Harry Potter-inspired creamers. Flavors include Toffee Cauldron Cake and Zero Sugar White Chocolate Peppermint Toad.  These limited-edition creamers will be available at grocery stores for $4.49.

The BBC says smearing yogurt on your home’s windows can lower your house temperature. Loughborough University conducted a month-long experiment to see if using yogurt on windows reduces indoor temperatures. It does by 3.5 degrees. Dr. Ben Roberts was surprised by the effectiveness of this method. The yogurt smells for 30 seconds when drying but that as soon as it has dried the smell disappears. It shows the importance of treating windows and heat shielding solutions for windows to reduce overheating.”

Have you ever heard that you need to wait 30 minutes after you eat to swim?  Well, that’s false.  The American Red Cross Scientific Advisory Committee concluded that, “eating before swimming is not a contributing risk for drowning and can be dismissed as a myth.”
