Just Jared says Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson are returning to American Idol for the May 4th episode. Abdul will sit on the judging panel as a guest judge with Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie. Abdul and Jackson will both mentor the Top 5 contestants

Riley Green was doing a recent interview with CMT when he said more acting jobs might be in his future. “I loved my time on Marshals. It’s possible that I could be back on the show. I had a great experience with it. Being an actor is a lot of work, but it’s a lot of fun at the same time.”

Ella Langley tells Billboard magazine that her goal right now is to start acting. I want to start acting soon. I would love to see myself up on the big screen. I like thrillers but also love comedy. I’m not a big romantic movie lady, so probably something funnier or a little more intense.”

“The Dark Knight” is the best superhero movie of all time, based on its IMDb rating of 9.1 out of 10.  It’s followed by “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” at #2 with 8.5, and “Avengers: Endgame” in third with 8.4.

Jordan Davis tells CountryNow.com that his whole band takes a sniff of smelling salts to get them ready to take the stage. “We have smelling salts on the road. We throw them in a Solo cup. Probably 10 minutes before a show, everybody gets a whiff. Man, it’ll wake you up. “

Inkl says Tom Cruise and Pamela Anderson may be dating and have a secret connection. They met in early 2024 and have kept in touch since.  Cruise reached out to praise Anderson and her  film ‘’The Last Showgirl’. A source says, “There is definitely a spark between them.”

Billy Bob Thornton has been writing country songs, ever since he wrote Flatland Cavalry’s “Midland After Midnight” for the “Landman” soundtrack. He says he’s written about 18 to 20 songs, and they’re more reminiscent of something from Waylon Jennings or Johnny Cash.  Quote, “I don’t write what they write these days.  Modern country music doesn’t thrill me. “I call it ‘Def Leppard with a steel guitar.’  It just sounds like pop music.”

If the British tabloids are to be believed, Jessica Biel has just about had it with Justin Timberlake’s behavior over the past several years, and she’s ready to leave him if he doesn’t clean up his act. In fact, she’s given him an ultimatum to that effect. Apparently, Justin hasn’t straightened out since his 2024 drunk driving arrest.  Just last week he was partying a little too hard at a golf tournament in Las Vegas. A source says, quote, “There’s not much more she can take.  [He’s] never home . . . She does everything with the kids, and she’s sick of being publicly embarrassed.”

BroBible says Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan are friends again after not talking for over 10 years Barkley criticized Jordan’s time as an NBA owner. The two said they will play golf together after the basketball season ends.

It’s becoming a new trend for celebrities to trademark themselves in the age of A.I.  First it was Matthew McConaughey, and now Taylor Swift is doing it. She filed two sound trademarks of her voice.  One is, quote, “Hey, it’s Taylor Swift” and the other is, quote, “Hey, it’s Taylor.” Taylor also filed a visual trademark of a photo of herself from the Eras Tour.  She’s wearing her iridescent bodysuit with silver boots and holding a pink guitar. She’s already dealt with her likeness being used in A.I.-generated images, including pornographic images.  So this trademark will be her effort to fight against that.  The, quote, “trademark yourself approach” hasn’t been tested in court yet in the age of A.I.  But McConaughey was granted eight trademarks last year, so Taylor’s probably will be too.

Jelly Roll tells Men’s Health magazine that he learned how to make money at an early age. “Around eighth grade, I discovered that there were was lots of ways to make money. It started with buying candy from the dollar store near my school. Then I’d go sell it at lunch. Then i end up getting a pager and getting some homies”.

Morgan Wallen tells CountryNow.com that his friendships are priceless. “It’s the simple things in life that make me the most happy. Good food, good company. That’s worth more to me than all the money in the world.”

Luke Combs tied his own record as the only artist in history to have the top two songs on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart as a solo artist.  Then on the U.S. Country Radio chart, he’s also the first artist to occupy the top two spots. The record-breaking doesn’t stop there for Luke.  On Saturday, he broke Ohio Stadium’s concert attendance record with 97,367 fans.  The previous record was held by Pink Floyd with 75,245 fans in 1994.

Luke Combs was doing an interview for a recent edition of Southern Living magazine when he said food is a big part of family life. “Some of my best memories growing up happened around the dinner table, and I want that for my kids too.”

Kacey Musgraves is releasing her new album, “Middle of Nowhere”, on Friday.  It includes a song with Willie Nelson called “Uncertain, TX”. She says he did it in one take and told her, quote, “I’m in my 90s . . . I’m giving you 30 seconds, and then I’m out.” This was their third time recording together.  Their other two songs are “Are You Sure” from Kacey’s “Pageant Material” album and “A Willie Nice Christmas” from “A Very Kacey Christmas”.

Kacey Musgraves entered a Kacey Musgraves lookalike contest in London . . . and lost.  When it was time to introduce herself, she did so with one of her most famous lyrics. She said, “I’m Kacey.  And I mind my own biscuits.” Everyone looked like they had a blast.  And Kacey was a good sport about it . . . She even stuck around to crown the winner.

TMZ says Al Pacino and Noor Alfallah recently stepped out for a dinner date in Beverly Hills. Noor tried to peek at the actor’s phone.  He yanked the phone away as Noor walked to their  car.  A source says, “They seemed tense and had a sharp exchange over privacy.”

When the first “Avatar” came out, people joked that it was just a live-action version of “FernGully: The Last Rainforest”.  Well, now an actual live-action “FernGully” is in the works.

Variety magazine says Taylor Swift recently filed three trademark applications with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. Two marks cover her voice, with the phrases “Hey, it’s Taylor Swift” and “Hey, it’s Taylor.” The third mark is a visual logo showing a photo of Swift holding a pink guitar on a pink stage. The filings mirror a similar move by Matthew McConaughey and are meant to protect against AI use.

TV Shows Ace says “Full House” star Lori Loughlin is back and looking strong after a recent glow-up. Her ex, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, is reportedly trying to win her back.  He has been sending flirtatious texts since seeing how confident she is now.  A source says, “He’s been sending flirty texts and telling her she looks incredible, and he even suggested they go on a date.”

Naughty but Nice says  Zoë Kravitz will not bring Harry Styles as her plus-one to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding because Taylor and Harry dated. Too much history makes this hard. A source says, “Things did not end well between Taylor and Harry. Publicly, it’s ancient history. Privately, it’s still delicate.”

The Daily Mail says Zoe Kravitz’s engagement ring from Harry Styles is allegedly worth $1 million. The paper says it is a 10 carat oval diamond set in yellow gold.

Page Six says Channing Tatum recently posted a cryptic poem after his ex, Zoë Kravitz, got engaged to Harry Styles. The poem is attributed to writer John Roedel. It reads … “My brain and / heart divorced / a decade ago / over who was / to blame about / how big of a mess / I have become / Eventually, / they couldn’t be / in the same room / with each other.”
