AI Actress Tilly Norwood Suffers a Language Malfunction

It turns out, A.I. actors aren’t so perfect after all.  The A.I. actress Tilly Norwood glitched during an on-air interview on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” with guest Tom Conti. She was promoting her new movie, “Misaligned”, when she started speaking Cantonese instead of English after she was asked if her costars are also A.I. Piers and Tom laughed, and Piers asked why she did that.  Tilly apologized and said, quote, “It seems I had a little hiccup there.  I certainly didn’t mean to start speaking Chinese or impersonate Piers. “Sometimes my wires get a bit crossed . . . That was a bit of a curveball even for me.  It’s usually a pretty smooth ride, but sometimes these things happen . . . It happens when you’re made of math and British wit, I suppose.” (You can watch the interview here.  Go to 10:50 for the glitch.)

Tom Cruise originally went through a lengthy process of prosthetics to transform into an eccentric oil tycoon for “Digger”.  It took the hair and makeup artists six hours to complete, but Tom urged them to find a more efficient way.  They ultimately were able to cut down the process to under ONE HOUR. Tom says, quote, “I had a guy there with a stopwatch, and I’m like, ‘OK, you see that time, six hours?  By the time we’re done, we’re going to get it under an hour.  They were like, ‘No, I’m not doing that; it will never happen.’ “I’m like, ‘OK, first of all, if you say no, you can’t do it; you will never get there.  So can we agree that we’ll maybe make it a little less?’  So with each piece that was going on, it was timed and then we’d drill and practice.” Of course, Tom is always trying to work to make things better and more efficient.  Quote, “The films that I make, I’m constantly going, how can I do it better?  How do I prepare better?” “Digger” hits theaters October 2nd.
