A Countdown, a Cowgirl, and a New Song: Taylor Swift Joins Toy Story 5

The countdown is over, although there is surely further suspense to come. Following the ticking down of a countdown clock, Taylor Swift revealed news that fans have been waiting for — an original song in “Toy Story 5, titled “I Knew It, I Knew You,” coming out this Friday. And it’s being touted by Disney as “a return to country” for the crossover superstar, tied in with the franchise’s toy cowgirl character, Jessie. The song is available as a CD single through her webstore, with additional “acoustic” and “piano” versions available in addition to the studio rendition. The CDs are on sale there through Wednesday afternoon, as limited editions, and will ship June 19, the date the movie hits theaters. The hints that Swift was participating in “Toy Story 5” in some way began in April, but really got unsubtle Friday when billboards went up around the country with the acronym “TS” surrounded by 13 cartoon clouds, representing her oft-used lucky number. Disney’s social media accounts did some further rib-nudging over the weekend with tweets paraphrasing Swift lyrics as captions for the billboard images, some of which featured the character Jessie.

TMZ says Taylor Swift recently fell out with her longtime friends Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh. The rift could keep them from attending the singer’s wedding to Travis Kelce. The report notes the ties are strained by lifestyle differences.

We obsessed over every detail to make sure they smell incredible, last and will become part of how my guys show up every day. These are layered, transportive, long-lasting scents that feel modern, confident, and elevate the day.”

Naughty But Nice says Taylor Swift’s circle of friends is allegedly getting smaller because of Travis Kelce. A source says, “It sounds like a love song, but they genuinely love being alone together. They have plenty of friends, but most of the time they’d rather just spend time with each other. Taylor used to have a huge circle around her. Now her world is much smaller, and Travis is at the center of it.”

Heat World magazine says Hugh Jackman is allegedly upset that fellow Australian Nicole Kidman is siding with his ex-wife Debra Lee Furness.  A source says, “Hugh was upset that Nicole avoided him at the Met Gala. That was very fishy to him – and then afterwards, he heard through the grapevine that some not very nice things were being said, and that she was letting everyone know she is team Deb. That did not sit well with Hugh at all. He’s burning mad and is convinced that Nicole has been winding Deb up behind the scenes, because she’s gone from being very cooperative, and even agreeing to meet up with him and Sutton for a friendly lunch, to suddenly going on what looks to him like some snarky rampage. It’s come out of nowhere, at least in his view, because he thought they were on a good path. He’s looking for people to blame and he’s hit on Nicole because it seems as though she’s got this axe to grind with him.”

The Daily Mail says Meghan Markle is getting roasted online over a resurfaced interview from 2016 in which she mocked expensive candles. I’ve always crafted it as “aspirational girl next door,” like you can aspire for it but totally attain it too.” Meghan is now selling a “Signature Scent” collection of candles on her “As Ever” website for a whopping $256.

He wasn’t talking about Earth, he was talking about the cosmos. He said, ‘There’s intelligent life out there’. And then you also want to be a good dad and a good husband and be able to really juggle those two worlds.”

Cimarron-Memorial High School and Desert Pines High School will get violins, trumpets and bajo quintos. The donation is part of the Morgan Wallen Foundation’s 2026 Tour Give Back Program.
