An eighth grader in California named Kevin Tang was just named America’s Top Young Scientist in 2025 for an invention inspired by his grandmother.  It’s called FallGuard.  It uses cameras and A.I. to detect if someone falls and to get help.  The title comes with a $25,000 grand prize.
