“Melon Fanatic Feline…Fake Banana Flavor Nostalgia…& That’s What The “B” Means!”
Some cats seem unusually interested in melons and certain fruit, and it’s because the fruit contains an amino acid that smells like meat to them.
The reason the taste of artificial banana flavoring and fake banana-flavored products doesn’t taste like bananas is that it is based on another type of banana that was wiped out by a plague in the 1950s.
The second B in “BYOB” doesn’t mean “beer” everywhere. A poll in the U.K. asked what it stood for and 39% said “bottle” . . . 38% said “booze” . . . and only 5% said “beer.” For the record, 17% said they didn’t know what it meant.
