Negatives, Alaska & Platypuses

“Can You Be ‘Chalant’ or ‘Gruntled?’…Ginormous Final Frontier….& American Platypuses!”

Negatives- There’s a term called “orphaned negatives,” for words like disgruntled, nonchalant, and innocent, whose positive counterparts (gruntled, chalant, and nocent) have completely vanished from common usage.

Alaska- There are only 16 countries with more land area than Alaska.  And just as a reminder, Alaska is more than double the size of Texas.

Platypuses- The San Diego Zoo’s Safari Park is home to two platypuses, and they’re the ONLY platypuses outside of Australia.
