Have you ever heard of Cledus T. Judd?  He’s best known for his country music parodies. And his latest one is worth a listen.  It’s called Riley Green” . . . and it’s to the tune of “Jolene” by Dolly Parton. Here are some of the lyrics:  “Your handsome is beyond compare . . . with suntan skin and dark brown hair . . . hell, you know that ain’t fair, Riley Green.”

The “Stranger Things” cast hasn’t said goodbye to the series just yet.  Noah Schnapp says the “Stranger Things” kids are going to watch the finale together. They won’t see the finale until the rest of the world does and that will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31. Noah said they’re ” probably gonna be sobbing the rest of the day, the rest of the month, probably.

Heat World magazine says Nicole Kidman is allegedly considering a steamy fling with her “A Family Affair” co-star Zac Efron. A source says,  ‘When they worked together Nicole didn’t see Zac that way, she was madly in love with Keith. But now that she’s single she’s looking at everything, and everyone, in a very different light, and the fact is that Zac is a gorgeous man. What’s even better about him is that he’s so incredibly sweet. When Nicole was working with Zac she was always suggesting people she could set him up with. But now her friends are saying she should forget matchmaking and test the waters with Zac herself! They’re saying a fling with Zac could give her back some pep in her step and help her get a fresh start so she can put the pain of her break-up with Keith firmly in her rear view mirror.’

WBEZ says a Chicago theater company has crafted a “Real Housewives” parody production titled “The Real Housewives of the North Pole”. The play draws inspiration from iconic moments from the popular franchise. The show promises a comical twist on the glamorous lives of North Pole divas.
Macaulay Culkin tells Wired magazine that he doesn’t have a driver’s license at 45. “I’ve never had a driver’s license before in my entire life. I originally chalked it up to me being a New Yorker, and that’s kind of what New Yorkers do, and so forth. But I haven’t lived in New York in a long time. Brenda [Song] and I, we had this agreement. We don’t make New Year’s resolutions ever. And we made a New Year’s resolution: I was gonna get my driver’s license, and she was gonna hire a wedding planner. We’re not married. And yeah, I still don’t drive, so.”

George Birge was recenty doing an interview for CMT when he said he and his wife still make time for romantic date nights whenever he gets home from touring. “We still sneak out more than we probably should. We’ve got some great babysitters. When I come home from the road, my wife is like, ‘Take me anywhere.’ God bless her. She and the boys, they have the most incredible bond and she’s the best mama.”

Hudson Westbrook tells People magazine that advice from Miranda Lambert shaped his approach to life and music. “She was like, ‘Just do your own thing and don’t worry about all the side stuff. Make your art and go do the things around your art that you need to do. And don’t ever change who you were before.’ She’s incredible.”

Ella Langley tells People magazine that growing up with brothers helped toughen her up. “I grew up in the country… between two rowdy brothers… sometimes I can seem more like a guy than a girl, but I think women can still be tough, direct and strong, without apologizing for who they are.”

Riley Green tells American Songwriter that he loves writing songs that make you cry. “Breakup songs and sad country music have always been what I love about the genre as a whole. George Jones is one of my favorites for that reason; all the stories he told were so true to his life; it seemed like you really believed it—and they were all songs that made you want to pull over and cry driving down the road.”

Parmalee star Matt Thomas was doing a recent interview for Holler Country magazine when he said his father helped shape his sound. “Our dad was our biggest influence – he turned us on to a lot of this stuff that he was digging. When I first started playing guitar, my dad got his band back together at about the same time. So, I was trying to learn all these licks off the Allman Brothers album – ‘Statesboro Blues’ was probably number one. If you’re a guitar player and you’re learning how to play slide, that’s the holy grail right there.”

Morgan Wallen tells CountryNow.com that since becoming a father, he’s changed who he spends time with. “There were times when I really didn’t care. WMTW says Dr. Mark Chavez has been sentenced to eight months of home confinement for supplying ketamine to actor Matthew Perry. Perry died of an overdose.  Chavez will also have to do 300 hours of community service. The other doctor busted for supplying Perry with drugs, Dr. Salvador Plasencia, was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison earlier this year.
Naughty But Nice says Dancing with the Stars producers were so impressed with Tom Bergeron‘s recent comeback on the show that they are considering having him return as a contestant next season. A source says,  “Tom brought the magic back. The audience went absolutely nuts. The ratings spiked. Backstage felt like the old days again. So now they want to see him literally cross over — from judge to contestant. Tom didn’t just return — he stole the show. Now we want him to steal the mirrorball too.”
RadarOnline.com says Cher allegedly allows her younger lover A.E. Edwards to have secret flings. A source says,  “If he wants to have fun on the side, Cher’s just about okay with that. She’s a pragmatist and figures it’s better to let him do his thing so long as he always comes back to her. She flies him around in private jets, pays for his designer duds, puts him up in five-star hotels and helps him with business connections whenever she can. In return, he’s by her side when she needs a date, travels with her out of town and doesn’t embarrass her by being caught romantically with anyone else. Cher knows she can’t control him, but she’s getting what she needs out of this arrangement, which is all she wants at this stage of her life. And that’s obviously a win-win for A.E., too.
