5-Year-Old Rescued After Wandering Into The Desert After Chasing The Family Dog

In a heart-stopping moment out of Arizona last month, a five-year-old boy was found safe after wandering into the desert in pursuit of his dog. Authorities say the child took off on foot after the pup and got lost in the harsh terrain.
Miraculously, the dog stayed right by his side the entire time.
Police just released chest-cam footage from the officer who located the boy, showing the emotional rescue as the child emerged from the brush — dusty, tired, but unharmed. Officers say the dog never strayed from the boy during the entire ordeal, staying close and calm until help arrived.
Thankfully, both are now home safe.
