One of Will Ferrell’s “Elf” costumes sold for $319,000 at auction. The auction house thought it would sell for $266,000.  The outfit came from the film’s producer’s collection and is a rare piece of Christmas movie history.  But an “Indiana Jones” fedora and one of Boba Fett’s blasters from “The Empire Strikes Back” sold for more.
