 Kia is offering a gasoline-scented air freshener for electric car owners who miss the smell of gas. The fragrance, designed by perfumer Max Perttula, has hints of motor oil and jasmine.  It is only available for buyers of the new Kia EV4 model. The air freshener aims to ease the transition from traditional gas-powered vehicles to EVs. 

Nike has introduced a new footwear system that helps people  walk faster and further with less energy. A motor-powered ankle attachment is connected to a Nike running shoe. This allows people to walk at a 10- to 12-minute mile pace.  The motor runs on a rechargeable battery and drive belt . Nike plans to launch Project Amplify in the coming years.

Amazon is soon going to require its delivery drivers to wear smart glasses. The glasses are equipped with AI for turn-by-turn directions. Amazon says the glasses will make deliveries safer and more efficient. The glasses have cameras to scan packages and capture proof of delivery. Drivers currently use smartphones for directions. The glasses will save drivers 30 minutes per shift.

Johnny Depp will star as Ebenezer Scrooge in “Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol”. The movie is scheduled for release in November 2026. A source tells TMZ, “Depp’s comeback is a major moment in the industry.”

A worker at the Palisades Nuclear Power Plant, in Covert, Michigan, recently fell into a reactor cavity and had to be decontaminated. The employee also ingested some nuclear water. Despite a quick response and decontamination, radiation was detected in the worker’s hair. The worker left the plant to seek medical care
