Before Riley Green got famous, he had a weekly gig playing at a Mexican restaurant in Jacksonville, Alabama. Here’s what he had to say.
Blake Shelton is known to be an alcohol enthusiast. And a new interview just surfaced that proves this very point. Check it out.
Buzzfeed dropped a list of crazy celebrity facts. Here are some highlights:
- Maybe I’m the only one on the planet who doesn’t know this, but did you know that Jackie Chan is a singer? He literally has 20 albums. He was a pop star in Hong Kong before making it big as a movie star, AND he’s operatically trained.
- One of my absolute favorite celeb facts is that Dolly Parton once entered a Dolly Parton lookalike contest at a West Hollywood gay bar, just for fun. She didn’t reveal her true identity, and the crowd had a lackluster reaction when she went onstage. She ended up coming in last, getting the least amount of applause, and lost to a drag queen. “I overexaggerated my makeup, but they didn’t know who I was. I guess they thought that this little guy just decided to walk across the stage,” she said.
- Y’know the beloved, curmudgeonly patriarch fromModern Family, played by Ed O’Neill? Well, turns out he’s actually a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He trained for decades after starting at age 42. O’Neill was also signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1969, after graduating from college, but was cut during training camp.
- Harrison Ford is not just a pilot in Star Wars — he’s also one in real life. He’s also been in multiple aircrash crashes, including a helicopter crash in 1999, a plane crash in 2015, and an instance where his plane was blown off the runway in 2000.
- Dick Van Dyke says he once fell asleep on a surfboard in the ocean and got lost at sea, and dolphins pushed him to shore.
- Jack Black’s mother was engineer Judith Love Cohen, who helped create the system that rescued the Apollo 13 crew.
- There are soooo many stars who are actually twins, including Ashton Kutcher, Vin Diesel, Scarlett Johansson, Gisele Bündchen, Aaron Carter, Alanis Morissette, Elvis*, Jon Heder, Kiefer Sutherland, Laverne Cox, Samantha Ronson, Parker Posey, Nicholas Brendon, Noah Schnapp, and Rami Malek.
- James Cameron thinks he may have been, quote, “the last man in the Western Hemisphere to learn about” 9/11. He was underwater filming footage of the Titanic wreckage, and surfaced 12 hours after the attack.
- Mark Wahlberg and Seth MacFarlane were both meant to be on flights that crashed on 9/11. Wahlberg changed his travel plans, and MacFarlane missed his flight due to a hangover.
- Cher puts Tom Cruise in her Top Five of all time when it comes to sex.
- Tim Allen became a SNITCH after he got arrested for cocaine possession. He ratted on dealers to get a lighter sentence, resulting in the indictments of 20 people. Tim served about two years.
- During a visit to a private zoo, Mike Tyson once offered the owners $10,000 to let him fight a gorilla. They declined. (Check out dozens more here.)
