New details on the proposed North Barstow Parking Ramp will be the subject of an open house tonight.
It's from 6-8pm in the RCU Community Room on Riverfront Terrace in Eau Claire. The structure would go on the property that the post office currently resides on, and cost around 10-million-dollars. That cost would pay for a four-floor ramp with 520 parking spaces, along with extensions of Galloway and Hobart Street. City Manager Russel Van Gompel says the ramp would meet a provision in the city's developmental agreement with RCU and JAMF Software. It will also be open to the public, with fees only applying during business hours.
