POLICE SEARCHING FOR DINOSAUR - Police in Raleigh, North Carolina, need help identifying a man and woman seen on surveillance video taking a baby dinosaur replica from a display at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. A young couple was in the exhibit when the male jumped the exhibit barrier, picked up the dinosaur replica, climbed out and put it in a large multi-colored purse carried by the female accomplice. The replica is worth about $10,000.
UNDERWEAR THIEF FLEES IN ICE CREAM TRUCK - A South Carolina (Rock Hill) woman is accused of stealing two pairs of underwear from a Dollar General store. Police say the 34-year-old shoplifting suspect put the undergarments in her purse and then walked out of the store without paying. She then fled in an ice cream truck.

The Lakewood, Washington police recently arrested a toothless 52 year-old man for gumming his roommate's arm. The man became upset when she declined to clean his ears. The toothless man ripped a door off of its hinges. He was charged with assault and malicious mischief.
Zhang Yen was recently dining at a restaurant in China when he found a dead cockroach in his salad. His server Jin Kuo said it was 'perfectly normal' to find a cockroach in a restaurant before swallowing the roach. A grossed-out Yen paid his bill and left.
A guy in Seattle wanted to kill a spider in his house, so he put together a HOMEMADE FLAMETHROWER . . . he held his lighter up to a can of spray paint to blast the spider. But he wound up setting the entire house on fire and did $60,000 in damage.
A 22-year-old guy from Michigan wanted to get his girlfriend an engagement ring, but couldn't afford it. So on Valentine's Day he went to the bank where she works and ROBBED it. Surveillance cameras got a decent shot of him, and when his girlfriend saw it she told the cops. He was just sentenced to six-and-a-half years in federal prison.
A 20-year-old in New Jersey was locked out of his car earlier this week and flagged down some cops to help him get in. They ran the plates . . . and it turned out he'd STOLEN the car. So he was arrested.
